Brett Cook has named round 12 team for this week.

We caught up with Brett Cook and asked about the last game’s 36 – 30 win over the Illawarra Cutters and Saturday’s upcoming game the against ladder leaders Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium…

What are your thoughts about the game against the Cutters?

The biggest thing for me was how early in the second half we were down by 12 points against a quality side and we came back to win.

Who were your standouts from last week?

Justin Hunt and Luke Kelly both went really good for us. Our bench also performed well. Daniel Alvaro, Isaac Maliota & Danny Howard did a good job for us when they came on. I thought Luke Kelly controlled the game. He set up a couple of tries and kicked some important goals for us. Justin Hunt scored a couple of tries and leading the side well.

Who was the ‘Players Player’?

Justin Hunt

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Justin Hunt

This weekend we’re up against Wests Tigers out at Campbelltown… So where do you think we’ll need to concentrate for this weekend’s game to come away with the win and take pole position on ladder?

It will be a good game this week. They’re [Wests Tigers] are going pretty well and have won their last couple of games.

Who do you think are the danger players that we’ll need to watch out for?

Their going pretty well in the Forwards, they’ve got a couple of big Forwards and a couple of young guys; Mitchell Moses in the halves & Curtis Sironen is back. The main one will be Marika Koroibete on the wing. He’s scored 3 tries and 2 tries in his last 2 games and has been their main player. He will be the main danger and the one we need to control.

Any injuries to report on?

Brendan McKinnon has sustained an off field injury (broken ankle).

They are to play West Tigers
