Brett Cook has named Round 2 team for this week.

We caught up with Brett Cook and asked about last weekend’s loss to the North Sydney Bears going down 16 - 30 and this Saturday’s upcoming game against the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval …

What are your thoughts about last weekend’s game?

I don’t think we just didn’t turn up with the right attitude, we wanted to come here and go through the motions. We didn’t play with any energy or enthusiasm and the other side did. That little period in the first where they got back to back tries and there was some one on one missed tackles that really cost us. In the end we could have won it but we just gave to too much start; 24 – Nil was just too much start.

I hope we’ve learnt a bit from that and know how we have to prepare and turn up next time.

Who were your standouts from last week?

• Sammy Gorman got ‘Players Player’ and he tried hard all day.

• Daniel Alvaro again as usual.

• Vai Toutai especially when he went back to Fullback.

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Sam Gorman

This weekend we’re up against the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval … Who do you think are the danger players that we’ll need to watch out for?

The Tigers had a win last weekend and everything sort of revolved around Josh Drinkwater, their Half. He’s one that we’re going to have to watch. They scored off of 3 of his kicks and he directed them around the park.

They’ve got some strong running Forwards as well which just flow off of the back of him (Josh) steering them around the park. They’ve probably got a bit of danger all over the place. We’ve just got to put pressure on their Halves.

Are there any injuries to report on or on report?

Adam Quinlan – Shoulder

Pauli Pauli – Knee
