Chris Yates has named his team for this weeks Preliminary Finals.

We caught up with Chris Yates and asked about last weekend's 42 – 22 win over the Auburn Warriors to and this Saturday's upcoming Final against the Mounties at Lidcombe Oval ...

What are your thoughts about last weekend's great win over the Warriors?

We had a good week at training and prepared well after the week 1 finals loss. The boys started well and put on back to back tries. At about the 20min mark I thought we stopped playing footy ran one out and didn't make the Warriors defence work too hard. A couple of errors on early tackles and the game turned on us we lost field position and went in at halftime 2 down. We spoke about completing sets at HT and asking more questions of the Warriors defence. The 2nd half didn't start well with 2 5th tackle penalties against back to back really hurt us and saw the Warriors skip out to a 10 point lead. To the boys credit they didn't panic and finished the game completing 14 sets in a row and scoring 30 points.

Who were your standouts from the game?

Right across the park the team performed well, but the 2 standouts were Whiz [Brendan Waters] and big Naala [Taunaola Kei]

Who was the 'Players Player'?

Taunaola Kei

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Brendan Waters

Week Three of the Final Series and we're up against Mounties at Lidcombe Oval... So where do you think we'll need to concentrate for this weekend's game to come away with the win?

We need to start well, that's really important. And we need to concentrate for the full 80mins. It's that time of year no excuses

Who do you think are the danger players that we'll need to watch out for?

Mounties front rower Uiti Baker has had a good year he's a key man for Mounties

Are there any injuries to report on or anyone on report?

None to report on!

They are to play Mounties
