Brett Cook has named his team for this weeks Week Two of the Final Series.

We caught up with Brett Cook and asked about last weekend’s loss to the Newcastle Knights and this Sunday’s upcoming Final against the Wyong Roos at Leichhardt Oval…

What are your thoughts about last weekend’s loss to the Knights?

It was disappointing not to win but I think there was some good positive signs come out of it. All we need to do is improve in a couple of little areas and I think we can get back on track. Overall like I said, disappointing to lose but there was a few good things come out of it.

Who were your standouts from the game?

Isaac Maliota & Polar [Daniel Alvaro]... The usual guys! Lionel O’Mally had a good game as well. These guys have been going well for us.

Who was the ‘Players Player’?

Isaac Maliota

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Isaac Maliota

Week Two of the Final Series and we’re up against the Wyong Roos at Leichhardt Oval… So where do you think we’ll need to concentrate for this weekend’s game to come away with the win?

I think the biggest thing Wyong have got is that they play for each other and have got a lot of desire and we’ve just need to match that and improve on the little areas I spoke about that we need to from last week and we shouldn’t have a problem

Who do you think are the danger players that we’ll need to watch out for?

They’ve got a big Forward pack and they’ve been going well and getting them going forward. Mitch Williams their Hooker is dangerous out of dummy half if you’re not controlling the ruck.

Are there any injuries to report on or anyone on report?

KJ MacKenzie has a rib injury and won’t be playing this week.

They are to play Wyong Roos
