Brett Cook has named round 22 team for this week.

We caught up with Brett Cook and asked about the loss to the Wyong Roos and this Sunday’s upcoming home game against the Manly Sea Eagles at Ringrose Park …

What are your thoughts about last weekend’s loss?

*It’s a game we should have won and we were up against a desperate and pretty good opposition. The game got off to a good start but just dropped intensity, made a couple of errors and then a few missed tackles. I think we still could have been in it but the longer we let them have a bit control of the game they kept growing stronger and stronger and they just shut us out.

Who were your standouts from last week?

Daniel Alvaro had a big game. He played 70 minutes, made 50+ tackles and run 190+ metres so he was probably the pick of them.

Who was the ‘Players Player’?

Daniel Alvaro

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Daniel Alvaro

This weekend we’re up against the Manly at home … So where do you think we’ll need to concentrate to come away with the win?

Our defence obviously and completing our sets… It’s as simple as that. Every week is the same and we have just got to get better at that

Who do you think are the danger players that we’ll need to watch out for?

They’ve got a couple of good halves, Jack Littlejohn and if Masada Iosefa plays. Dom Reardon who played here last year out the back , he’s been good for them the last few weeks. They’ve got a few over the park.

So who is in the Casualty Ward this week??

Nick Walker has a quad injury and we have to wait and see if he will be right to play. That’s about it from last week.

They are to play Manly Sea Eagles
