Chris Yates has named round 14 team for this week.

We caught up with Chris Yates and asked about last week’s win over Blacktown Workers and this Sunday’s upcoming game against the Asquith Magpies at Storey Park …

What are your thoughts about the game last weekend?

A 26-24 win, our first half was probably our worst all year, 53% completions we couldn't get anything started and with 10sec left before halftime Walter V produced a great effort for us to score and go in 14-6 down. We started the 2nd half great scoring from our first set, Blacktown came back at us hard and with 20mins to go we were down 24-12 . Our last 20mins was our best and that was done with 12 men after Nathan smith was sin binned twice. To the boys credit they found a way to win.

Who were your standouts from last week?

Nick Kassis and big Buggo were great off the bench. Nick Walker in his first game for us was pretty good

Who was the ‘Players Player’?

Nick Kassis

Who was the Player of the Week selected by the Coaching Staff (Coaches Award)?

Nick Kassis

This weekend we’re up against Asquith Magpies… So where do you think we’ll need to concentrate for this weekend’s game to come away with the win?

Attitude in defence and also our decision making

Who do you think are the danger players that we’ll need to watch out for?

Asquith are a good team led by their No7 Aaron Groom , he has plenty of experience and a good kicking game

Are there any injuries to report on?

Walter Vaeau – Calf – 2 weeks

Ethan Tangiera – Cut leg – 1 week

They are to play Sun, Jun 29, 3:00 PM AEST, Asquith Magpies v Wentworthville Magpies, Storey Park, Lodge St, Hornsby NSW 2077.
