During a Sydney Shield match between the Wentworthville Magpies and the Cabramatta Two Blues on the 7th of June 2015, Kurt Drysdale aged 20, was unfortunately involved in a life changing accident during an innocent tackle.

Kurt has been diagnosed with a broken neck and has so far undergone two Spinal operations. At the moment Kurt is a Quadriplegic still in Intensive Care and costs are mounting, any little donation will help.

The Wentworthville District Rugby League Football Club (WDRLFC) Ron Massey Cup side donated part of last Saturdays games match fees payment and the WDRLFC Board will be matching this donation.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated and accepted. Donations can be made in 2 ways…

Funds can be deposited into:

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise funds for Kurt and his family. Details here. http://www.gofundme.com/wvjk5wc

Kurt’s family will be donating any proceedings left over to The Spinal Research Unit.
